How bittersweet the dreaming,
That comes right from the heart,
Our black and white reality,
Two friends so far apart.

I could sit right next to you,
And never speak a word,
And we could laugh all day about,
The things we never heard.

So many evenings spent,
Just walking through the park,
We'd laugh and talk and smile,
Til it was way past dark.

I wish that I could see you,
And feel your warm embrace,
How bittersweet my dreams are,
In this cold and empty place...
I really liked the title 'Bittersweet dreams' that I had for another poem, but I figured out my 4 line stanzas are always better than my 3 line ones, so I took this title and wrote a different poem to go with it... I think this ones better than the original, so yer...
